300 Followers and a Link Share Party!!!!

300 Followers

I hit another milestone on the blog over the Bank Holiday, 300 Followers!  I am so happy right now!!!!  When I started this blog back at the end of September 2018 I never expected to gain so many followers, I would have been happy with 10, 50 even so getting 300 is beyond my wildest dreams!  Never would I have thought that so many people would want to follow my blog and read the words I write!  I am so touched and grateful to each and every one of you!  Thank you so much, you are the reason I get up each day and continue with my blog, thinking of new ideas for posts, and enjoying every single thing that blog life brings my way!

As a thank you, I would like to invite you all to share your blog links in the comments, whether it is a link to your blog home page, one of your favourite blog posts, or one that you think deserves a little more love than it has gotten so far!  I am always on the lookout for new blogs to engage with, so even if you don’t follow me or I don’t follow you please leave a link!!!!  I want to encourage you to visit other blogs and leave a genuine comment on a post that interests you and to really engage with the rest of the blogging community!

Shout Out to The Confusing Middle!!!

Today’s shout out goes to The Confusing Middle!!!  Not long after I started blogging I found The Confusing Middle’s blog and started following, I can’t remember how I found Aaron’s blog but I do know that I enjoy reading his posts.

The Confusing Middle has been running since January 2015 and Aaron says that his blog is about

All the things… It’s evolved a little and may evolve back. I like to share stories and observations from my everyday life. But I’m also a big geek who loves to watch movies and TV, so I have a tendency to share my thoughts about some of the things I’ve seen.

I really like how Aaron blogs about lots of different things, and I especially like the Rewatching series!  Some of the shows that Arron has re-watched and blogged about I had totally forgotten about!

A fun fact about The Confusing Middle blog is that “This is actually the second blog I’ve kept. The first one was called Carp Dime and I wrote over there for 10 years. But I moved over here to WordPress because the community of bloggers is so much better than it was over there.”

Saturday Shout Out – Giggling Fattie

Shout Out to Giggling Fattie!!!!

For my First Saturday Shout Out I’d like to introduce you to Giggling Fattie who blogs over at No Love For Fatties here on WordPress.

I have been a follower of Giggling Fattie since I started this blog and I am really pleased that she wanted to be a part of this Saturday Shout Out as I really love to read her blog.  She posts lots of different things from nail art to funny things that have happened in her life to thoughts and feelings.  She recently took part in the April A to Z Blogging Challenge  (click to find the posts here) where she wrote some really brilliant short stories based on a children’s illustrated A-Z rug!

Giggling Fattie is always super honest and really supportive of other bloggers and has been really welcoming to a “Newb” like me!

Giggling Fattie’s blog has been running for 4 years this August and is about her life in general, things that happen to her, interest or confuse her.  She says to

Future Man: this was just plain fun to write! It was amazing from start to finish and definitely shows my personality.

Doris, meet the world! World, meet Doris!: This post was very emotional for me to write. I had never really talked to anyone openly about my hair issues before, so sharing that and getting support from my community was amazing.

I am also really nosy when it comes to fun facts, I asked about a fun fact about her or her blog,

I have NO IDEA why I started liking hippos. It was just like POOF one day I loved them. And now they are basically my entire life.
