My TBR Kindle Books

My Kindle

Last week I shared my list of physical books that are on my To Be Read pile.  Today I am going to go through my Kindle books to be read.

I usually download books that are on offer or free with my Kindle Unlimited subscription but I am not adverse to buying a book if the story captures my interest or I really love the author.  I have to remember which books I have on my Kindle Unlimited as you can only borrow 10 books at a time and I am forever forgetting to return the ones I have already read.

Anyway, without any further ado, here’s my Kindle list…

  1. Checking Out – Nick Spalding
  2. Blogging Made Easy – Amen Sharma, Gareth James, Romeo Martin J. Rosales, Rumena Begum
  3. Blogging – The 4 Step Collection – Mark Gray
  4. The Friend – Teresa Driscoll
  5. Into The Darkness – Sibel Hodge
  6. Write Blog Posts Readers Love  – Henri Junttila
  7. My Virtual Life – Sharon Dempsey
  8. Self Discovery Journal – Gerald Confienza
  9. Sleep Tight – Rachel Abbott
  10. Dangerous Girl – Emma Tallon
  11. Selfie : How We Became So Self Obsessed – Will Storr
  12. Silent Scream – Angela Marsons
  13. The Others – Ian C.P. Irvine

To Finish Reading

  1. The Minaturist – Jessie Burton
  2. The Marriage Pact – Michelle Richmond
  3. The Purgatorium – Eva Pohler
  4. Everyday Aspergers – Samantha Craft
  5. Nerdy, Shy, and Socially Inappropriate – Cynthia Kim
  6. How I Changed My Life In A Year – Shelley Wilson

What books do you have waiting to be read on your Kindle?

  1. I don’t like to read on a screen. I’ve never had a kindle, but I’ve bought my dad one and he loved it so much he turned around and got one for my mom, but I have used my iPad’s “iBook” reader. It came in handy when I was in a book club while living in South Korea – can’t just go to the library for English books haha!

I love physical books, the feel of them, the smell of them. It’s just amazing. Right now I have three waiting to be read: In my Father’s Country by Saima Wahab, The Last of the President’s Men by Bob Woodward, and The Wife’s Tale by Aida Edemariam. I finished a book yesterday and will pick one of these to start next. Any suggestions on which one? lol

But OMG to your to be finished pile! I can’t read more than one book at a time. I’ve never been gifted with that ability.

I guess the only book I have to be finished is “The Wind in the Willows”. My mom decided I needed to own it since she was reading it. She bought us identical copies, beautiful soft green and gold covers, saying how it’s over so many years old and blah blah blah (the book is, the copy isn’t). She gave me mine for Christmas with a Disney DVD to go with it. I read about 5 pages and hated the book and haven’t picked it up since. But if I tell her I didn’t like it, I’d get an hour long rant on how I never like anything she does, and she picked it out because she thought I’d enjoy it, and it’s a personal attack on her and then she wouldn’t talk to me for about a week. So it just sits under my nightstand with the bookmark where I left off, and if she ever asks about it I can just say it’s “in progress”. I might try to pick it up again later. But right now there’s no desire to haha.

      1. I think if I had an actual kindle it would be better than the iPad. I like the kindle screen since it’s dull and muted and not shiny. But I still really love the feel of pages! I actually just posted some reviews on my blog of some books I’ve been reading! Can’t wait to dive into my next one!

      2. I love the feel of books too! And I much prefer a book to anything else so I totally know what you mean!! I’ll check your posts out! Xxx
