Blog Milestones Worth Celebrating?

I’m not far off hitting a blog milestone – 100 followers… I currently have 87 followers (Thank you to each and every one of you!) and it got me thinking about how I’d like to celebrate reaching 100 follows…currently I have 3 ideas but am keeping them to myself for the time being!

Getting close to a blog milestone made me think about other milestones that are worth celebrating.  I am already planning my Blogversary #1 but I have also been thinking about whether to celebrate any other kinds of milestones.

I had ideas for celebrating

100th blog post, 200th blog post, 300th blog post etc…

100th follower, 200th follower, 300th follower etc…

And also throwing some kind of celebration for my Birthday as well…

What sort of milestones do you celebrate?  And what sort of things do you do to celebrate these milestones on your blog?

    1. Thank you! It’s really cold here and seems to have snowed a bit in the night so I’m having a sofa day snuggled up with hot coffee, my dog and a good magazine! Hope you have a good day too! Xx

  2. I celebrate my birthday and yearly anniversary for things (work, relationships). But for my blog I celebrate the year mark of writing and then when WordPress tells me I’ve reached a milestone haha like a while back I got to 1337 posts which is apparently a thing so I celebrated it haha

      1. You will! I post almost every day (and sometimes 2 or 3 posts depending on what I’ve got to say) and I’ve been at it for over three years so it’s taken a long time to reach that point haha.

  6. I post about milestones as well. When I reached 600 followers, I did a “promote your blog” post. I’m going to do another at 1000 but I’m a bit far from it still 🙂 keep writing, be consistent, inform, give your opinion. There are a million ways to do great posts and I believe you can do it. ❤

  8. I’ve toyed with the idea of doing a giveaway of some kind to celebrate some future milestone. I haven’t decided what I want to give away or what milestone I want to celebrate. I know that, on my old blog, I did a giveaway to celebrate my 2000th blog post (I blogged there for 10 years). Since The Wizard of Oz is my favorite book, I gave away a copy of the book, Marvel’s version of the graphic novel adaptation, and a copy of the movie on DVD. Not a big deal, but it was fun.

  9. Congratulations on almost reaching 100 followers!
    When I reached 1000 & 2000 followers I held giveaways & for my first blogiversary I shared my top 10 posts & for my second blogiversary I shared what I’ve learned in 2 years of blogging 😊
    I also celebrate my bday & my daughter’s bday & I just write a post about what I did that day!

  10. I’m all about celebrating anything that brings you joy in a way that makes sense to you. So if you want to celebrate any and all of the above, I say go for it. Blogging is about being you first, then sharing you with the world. ‘Ya know?

  11. Great idea. Never thought of doing that as I usually celebrate milestones with my business on my blog. Now I have to look up how many followers I have and think about it….
